So that New Game+ mode with amped-up bosses, new wave compositions and rapid stage transformations won’t is now being experienced by even me! I’m was writing this in defeat, but in a surprise turn of events, I beat the game. The new stuff added to the Switch version doesn’t really apply actually applies to me! I’m glad to say this and I’m not even the best at beating Bullet-Hells. I still find it hard to not love Starch and the way she talks with the bosses. Does it pan out? Can I actually beat the game now? Can a four-year-old play the game? (You know, because that’s really important for the majority of people out there.) Let me break it down for you. The Switch is such an excellent console for multiplayer and they said it was even easier to join with Nintendo’s latest baby. There was one concept that really drew me to reviewing the same game twice. While it was a crazy Bullet-Hell filled with carnage (read that as me dying a lot) and flashy moves, I really enjoyed the snot out of it. Nevertheless, it's a wonderful time-killer for both single and multiplayer gaming.I played Assault Android Cactus on Steam and found it pretty excellent. Playing it with a controller is highly recommended, and it may not be suitable for people who don't have fast motor skills or reflexes. It's highly addictive and a great choice to play with friends thanks to its fast-paced gameplay and non-linear progression. Challenging, But FunĪndroid Assault Cactus is a challenging twin-stick shooter, but it's really fun when you learn the basics. Still, its simplicity in gameplay makes it enjoyable even if you lose a lot. There's really no linear improvement progression in this game, so if you want to advance, you'll have to practice a lot. It's notorious enough for being so difficult as it is, but not being able to play it on a controller makes it twice as hard. The game is a twin-stick shooter which means it's really meant to be played with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse. They can also drop stat and weapon boosters, so make sure to get them before they disappear.

Enemies drop items that can replenish your battery. Getting hit by enemies will render you immobile for a few seconds, but you won't lose unless your battery runs out. Your battery is your unique health bar in this game.

Your job is to shoot as many monsters as you can before the time or your battery runs out. Difficulty and EnjoymentĪndroid Assault Cactus has a very simple gameplay. All of the characters are voiced and the acting in the game is perfectly done. The music is just so catchy and upbeat that it will no doubt fuel the player's fighting spirit. The design of the characters might be a bit contentious as some will enjoy the chibi look while others will find it uncanny. The art and music of the game are pretty good.
